I don't have my new doors yet but i'm installing the rear tub and bulkhead, followed by the seatpan, etc. I'll be using JimC's string method to align the rear tub and bulkhead, but I need the measurements from rear tub to bulkhead. I have a new chassis. Can someone measure the distance from...

Since there is only one real adjustment for the alignment, I've been doing it at home for the most part. However, after recently replacing a very very busted tie rod end the alignment is WAY out. I'm going to tackle it this weekend but wanted to double check on how you guys measure it and what...

Hi Guys, So Im new to this forum. Just bought a 2001 110 td5 and starting to look at fixing it up a bit. The first step is to have it pass a roadworthy, MOT, out of Province inspection. One issue that was identified is that the window on the passenger side (left hand drive) does not fully go...

So i've been troubling shooting an alignment issue with my doors. Primarily the passenger door is contacting the side panel at the top most corner an it doesn't close very easily. I started searching on the site and I learned the hinges and striker bar are adjustable by loosening up the bolts...

I'm currently dressing up my two front doors and noticed my bulkhead out of alignment. The top of the bulkhead leans in 3/16" towards the rear tub. My question is, do the front wings need to be removed to align the bulkhead? Btw, this is for a 1995 D90 NAS ST Cheers...

I installed my fiberglass hartop and have some alignment issues with a new & recently installed 1/2 door (OEM LR door). The door top hits the fiberglass hartop cap above the door so the door wont shut properly. I know there is play in the hinges for door alignment - do you think there is...

Anyone have experience with Firestone for alignments? I need to get the wifes lr3 aligned and Firestone is $80 vs $200 at the dealer and just tires. Firestone confirmed the price is good for a 4 wheel alignment. Should I ne concerned they are that much cheeper?

Hi All, So I just replaced the ball joint at the end of the track rod but now my steering wheel is off by close to 20 degrees. What's the best way to correct this? When i installed the new joint I measured how far out the old one was but apparently I didn't get it correct. Thanks

Out of the four doors on my 110 only one looks like it lines up properly. The tops on a couple of them stick out like they were pried open at some point. On another the top is not level meaning the rear of the door is lower by about a half inch than the front. The way the panels don't line up...

OK, basically I'm getting pissed because I know this must be something much more simple than I can realize at this moment. I am rebuilding a 1983 D110 (see Registry), and have finally made some progress in the past couple months after 3 years. After getting the original front axle lined up...

I have my bulkhead and tub sitting on the frame and I am getting ready to start aligning it and wanted to ask / confirm a few items prior to moving forward. 1. Jim C posted that the frame should be level and that the bulkhead should be perpendicular to the frame (frame 0 degrees bulkhead 90)...

Does anyone know if the specs for a '84 90 wheel alignment would be the same for a NAS 90? I.E., can I take my 90 to a tire shop and tell them to use the specs for a NAS 90 (which they'd have in their database) instead of mine (which they don't)? Thanks!

Hey all- Working feverishly on the 110 build to get on top of this thing. I am at the point of assembling tub, tpost etc..... String test appears things are looking really good but I have a question about where the t-posts need to properly be seated. I have attached photos of the...

I remember reading in a post that Hans made about his timing pointer being off by something like 6 degrees. I'm not sure if those fancy static timing guns can help but how do figure out if your timing pointer is bent and is pointing at the wrong direction? I'm thinking use a chop stick in the...
