A Little
History
I purchased this truck locally (in Southern California) in September 2016. "JEEPEATER" was named by the original owner, who purchased her new at Hornburg Land Rover (Los Angeles) in 1994. I am the second owner.

What can I say? According to legend #1398 was THE FIRST Defender used to mock up and carry the Safari Gard brand of equipment and armor. Greg Jevne was a friend of the owner and kept her for nearly 18 months after his initial purchase while designing and refining the Safari Gard brand. Remember that bad ass Consiston Green D90 on Greg's website? This is her!!!

#1398 been documented extensively in various 4x4 publications, as well as featured on television.

This truck currently resides in Moorpark, CA.

#1398 proudly carries the marks one would expect of a trail 4x4 and will never be 'restored' - no leather dashboard trim kits or anything that rhymes with "PUMA" in her future.

In the summer of 2018 I installed a 4.6L GEMS V8 and basically replaced everything that can or will break. Other than 'that' she's good to go!
