History
Purchased new in San Antonio, lived in hill country west of Austin on a small ranch. Parked up for years. I purchased in 2009 as second owner and did restore-lite (brakes, carb, fuel tank, exhaust, Pertronix, etc). Decided to leave the intense Texas sunburn patina as is. Daily driver around Austin. Named after the famous fossil Lucy that dates to 3.2 million years in age and that I study.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Cleaned up engine and bay, rebuilt heater with new motor and squirrel cage.
Interior
Included complete original tool kit with wrapper and jack stand and wooden handle.

Labs are always the first ones in, ride shotgun looking out back windows.
Exterior
Found the original build sheet folded up under the front seat.
Audio
Cleaned up and powder coated rims. BFG All Terrain T/A LT235/75R15C.
Suspension
Rebuilt brakes. Crayon markings from the factory build that shows the color are still visible on the frame, with crayon marking noting the frame number preserved inside the engine bay.
Wheel and Tire
Some surprises in fuel tank and air cleaner during cleaning. The tank took forever to clean and coat.
