We bought the 88 LR110 in Dawlish UK in 2011 with a 300 TDi and had to do an engine swap in 2013 to a 3.5 before it was able to be imported in to the US. What a nightmare. Then it sat in Germany for another 8 months before I saw it again. A long bitter story. But I have it now and plan to fix it one piece at a time. lots of other parts collected from living in Europe.
