History
Originally from Belgium, brought into U.S, approx 4 years ago. I purchased the Defender at that time from Bob Courtney at Red Barn Engineering. RBE has been refurbishing this truck with me every step of the way.

1984 Land Rover Defender 110 (Orange)

Modifications

Drivetrain
Replaced original 2.5 NA with (0 milage) rebuilt 300 tdi with variable vane turbo sourced from Land Rover Imports UK, mated to R380 manual gear box from Atlantic British, new radiator and intercooler, new heater fan, electric block heater. (OD currently at 6,000 and counting (extremely reliable daily driver), new exhaust
Interior
Entire interior interior removed (new Bulk Head installed at time of purchase) interior sprayed with bed liner then fitted with Dynamat Extreme, then fitted new rubber floor, two new Exmoopr Defender standard front seats installed, original center cubby box with Tuffy cup holder added in front, all new gages, Mud UK center console with bank of switches (only 2 currently in use for bunny burners and rear work light, new pioneer single disc CD player, AM/FM, integrated mic for phone, 4 lighter style plugs for phone charging two in front, two in rear, one in cargo area, two overhead dome lights, original rear passenger second row bench seat (have one cargo side bench seat plus two original front seats as spares)
Exterior
Orange paint with black bonnet (matt finish) and black wheel arches. Black snorkel, spare wheel carrier on rear door, brown church ladder (no roof rack), European style tow set up, snow cowl, Rigid brand bunny burners, rear work light, RN winter muff, Headlamp guards, LED Light kit, Halogen Head Lamps
Audio
5 - BFG MT/AT 285/75/16 on disco wheels, mounted over wheel spacers
Suspension
TerraFirma shock and coil kit, medium duty, 2" lift, all new original land rover rubber bushings installed front tot back (ride is nice, tight and stable)
Wheel and Tire
New Brakes front and rear (discs & drum) and new brake lines added where needed, oil & filter change every 2k, new deep cycle, heavy duty battery.

Rear Cross member is solid, some recurring rust that gets regular attention with POR15.

Doors: are solid, workable doors. all frames were painted from inside with POR15 then the doors and door cards were lined with Dynamat. The right rear passenger door some bondo in the lower door frame corner, it does not effect the door so i left it as is. rear door also treated the same. Rear cargo door had some rust and pitting, one spot was bad, again all scraped down and treated with POR 15 inside and out, door is very solid.
