So your 300 tdi is a 2.8 instead of a 2.5? Is that one of the Brazil manufactured engines or a modification? And how does it compare to a 2.5l 300 tdi? Also, (you may have done this on purpose, but) your roof rack is on backwards :)

Hi how’s it going? The engine runs bit better than the 2.5. More torque I feel also has more get up and go.
As for the engine itself it’s a Rovers North 2.8 engine.
Roof rack is on backwards I have a cvtrooftop tent that you enter from the back, and I am going to add lights up top.
Are thinking about the 2.8? Have to say it’s worth
A look.
What are you running? Any pictures of your Defender?

Looking good. Have you made any changes on your wheels and tires? We just finished installing toyo tires and new fender flares on ours. I'm planning to reinstall the roof rack as well after we clean up the garage.
