New from Atlanta

Hey folks,
I just picked up a 130. I was going to restore it but it came from Turkey and rust is minimal. I think I just want to upgrade the interior and leave the exterior as is. Any recommendation for sourcing good interior parts. I want to completely restore/overhaul the interior. I have a auto shop so I can do pretty much anything. I just need to know where to get the parts. Thanks all.

Nice truck! Where is your shop in Atlanta?

What type of expertise does your shop have?

If you want to restore the interior, you’d likely be interested in Exmoor seats. You can get everything from newer style seats, seat covers, or matching seats.

For window panels (if any) and headliners, LaSalle is good.

For door panels, many companies to choose from but perhaps SP4x4

For dash, may want to check out Ministry of Defender products

Awesome. Will you start working on Defenders now as well?

Hahahah, no. We can do the mechanical items but I don't take on older vehicles. Most of our body business are newer cars.

I'm actually looking for someone to take on semi-non-frame off restoration for mine. It's in great shape.

There are only a few shops in North Georgia that handle some mechanical work for Defenders. One is The Shop in Chamblee area. Another is in Cumming/Alpharetta but I forget the name.

For restoration, the nearest custom restoration would be in the Orlando Area or perhaps Charleston. I believe the two in Orlando are Safari HP and Geared Restoration

Does anyone know what bed/camper I have? It's defiantly not stock. I'm trying to get some hardware/gas struts to hold up the camper doors. The tail gate doesn't seem to have anything to hold it from falling all the way down either.

I wouldn’t know myself but it may help to post a few close up pictures

Another idea would be to contact some of the primary importers on the forum. I’ve seen Johan post knowledge about Turkish Defenders and may have an idea. He also knows a lot about 130s
