First, unless you have some sort of ambassador exemption or something that makes that truck legal, I would consider it poor judgement to say on this open public forum that your truck is a 2002 or has a TD5 engine if it is hear in the States. Again, you may have some sort of exemption that I don't know about but it is a good way to get your truck seized.
Second of all, have you filed a DR2365 for the truck yet? They are now flagging all vehicles that are grey market at emissions and making one file a DR2365 which means you have to take it in and they verify the engine--which is not a legal engine in the USA.
Again, maybe you work for the government or are on some sort of a temporary touring visa...or you register it out of State-- I don't know. But it says you are in Boulder and I can name one more TD5 that is now parked in a garage in Boulder because it was just flagged 2 months ago and can not get a DR2365 without swapping out the engine... And I certainly wouldn't post that if you do register it out of state on top of all that...
What Davis said. I just went through the DR-2365 process with my 200 TDI if you have any questions. Even if your rig squeaked by with a "variation" for title, without the DR 2365 you will not get a new tag registration in CO when it is time to renew. Agreed on removing the information from the forum for your piece of mind.
