RN LED headlamps: anyone try them

https://www.roversnorth.com/parts/hl...headlamps_pair

Decent price. 'wonderin' if anyone has tried them. The shop that worked on my rig put in a set of the "insect eye" models that did poorly in the Headlight Revolution testing. I've only turned them on the the daytime, but from what I've seen I can believe that the beam pattern is so bad that they blind incoming drivers (lots of comments on Amazon to that effect). Anyone try these ones from RN?

By insect eyes, do you mean the Noldens?

Oh, damn. Yes. Those really are quite fugly. I’ve seen them on some local Jeeps. Look fine as drl’s but not great at rest. Don’t know about the spread.

Grab some Noldens. About the same money as the RN set (no offense Z) but they were oem for the heritage and they look nice and right. About average for performance, but hey, for that price... 😉 I paid $1k for my “official” set, but you just can’t lose at $350 for the same set that didn’t go down the LR stream.

From what I can tell the Nolden's (made by Taiwanese company Giantlight) aren't available. From the Headlight Revolution test, the high beam pattern looked pretty crappy, but it's an old design.
