Door Top Mounting Stud Rusted/Snapped

Going to dig in to this project now. Getting cold....need some door tops.

How do get this apart to a point where I can drill out the broken stud and likely the studs that will broken? If I remove these two outer rivets will that whole panel come off and allow me to remove the glass channel and then remove the small screws to pull the window frame tray out?

Garrison Outfitters has a video that shows how to disassemble them. Think about installing their kit while you have them apart.

I just drilled from the bottom up then helicoiled the window frame. I now use ss studs with antiseize on them.

Edit: didn't bother with disassembly

That may be a good option as well. Will see how bad the felt is....might do the whole kit.
