rearview mirror

does anyone know the best way to replace or repair the aging and glass that is wearing out in a 1994 D90 NAS soft top? As this part is NLA

That's either prep or the glue, not the mirror. I took the original one off when I replaced the windshield and glued it back on the new windshield. 5 years and still there...
