Show us your dogs..
 

There is something about land rovers and dogs.. Especially the hunting/working breeds.. I know there has been some other threads regarding dogs but I don't want to hijack someone else's thread.. So this one is just about everyone's dog...crazy or not... I grew up with dogs and would like my children to grow up with dogs.. Some of you have had the pleasure of meeting another great australian...my dog named Matilda...:)... For those who have not had the pleasure..here she is, she's quite smart and very well behaved and obedient..that's the way I like my women (notice I didn't say bitches..) and yes.. Her name is Matilda, because she will come a waltzing with us around the world..

My wife and I try to do some animal good when we can and we are "involved" with a south Florida cattle dog rescue society, my wife drove a couple hundred miles to pick up some rescue dogs that were flown out of Alabama, dogs are in pretty malnourished shape but are absolute sweethearts... And couldn't give a toss about our cats,..so very cat friendly.. Raven looks to be a cattle dog mix with a very slight amount of shepherd in her, she has the most dense short haired coat I've seen on a dog (cattle dogs have a double coat) she is a bit undernourished but not food agressive and will let me take her food away while eating, she is already learning that she is not allowed in the kitchen and she is house trained.. Learning to use a doggy door already..

And this one is....???????.. Trying to think of a good name for her.. She has not been well fed of late and as such is very food motivated.. But not food agressive.. She is very mellow and is about 2-3 years old.. Raven is about 2..).. She is on the smaller side and will stay about 30-40 lbs.. Has the cropped tail. She's a sweetheart and I just may have to keep her...you can never have too many red females around..lol..

Shayne everything you have said about Matilda is true. She is an absolute sweetheart. Both of you guys are very animal savvy and do great things for the animal community. Thank you.

I got Burton a year and a half ago from a family that could no longer take care of him with a st.bernard and great dane in the house. I love this guy to no end! A few on here that have met him know how huge and awesome he is

Here's my prize winning reindog mutt that's half ACD, half lab. Her name's Bella and her ears refuse to stay up, but she's got the Bentley mark on top of her head, with webbed feet and a rudder for a tail....;)

Is he coming to the Winter Romp?

Not sure yet, don't know if he'd like staying in the room while I'm out in town
