welp, after a very short notice date change i finally got it! i got my frankenstein 109
series land rover are very new to me, so just about everything will be a learning experience. i bought it from a guy named Don Emory, who is one of the nicest guys i've ever meet. He gave me a ton of parts to complete the truck, couldn't have asked for a better guy to sell me this truck. the chassis, bulkhead, breakfast are spotless and are already painted. it runs like crap and needs a well needed tune up but it runs, and drives! the plan is parabolic's, 24 spline axles, disc brakes, and than... well i am not sure i think it i am just going to wing it!
but here are some pictures. I can't wait to really start digging into it!

Congrats! Looks like a great project! Are you going to keep it a truck cab? I'd recommend you order the green bible ASAP although I'm sure it's online somewhere too. Have fun and keep us posted!

he has a 1973 III that has a toast frame, a early model series III with the front clip off both 500$ , a 109 like mine but with a toast frame and put an 88 top on it and a rear door and a ford 302 wants 1500$, than he has his personal series IIa which i dont know much about it except the frame is nice, as well as the engine has a OD and awesome patina. he want like 5-6000$ for it. he also has a few 2.25 gas engines laying around along with a 2.25 diesel engine all sitting on a pallet

little update, pulled the carb off yesterday cleaned, ordered a rebuild kit and ordered a new inline filter and gaskets so i can drop and clean out the tank. also i bought a spare front axle from him that has warn locking hubs on it. so i ripped them off, and than went looking through some of the boxes he gave me and on the bottom were three new gaskets and the old installation instructions but i need four gaskets so i made another and will install them tomorrow.
