Pine tar removal
I managed to sit in / on pine tar while dragging some tree stumps with the d-90. Well, OK, I was riding the log we were dragging. I got pine sap every where on my cotton cargo pants but a big dollop on the rump is a bit to riske for me and I do not want to trash the pants.
Any ideas on how to get the stuff out?

Some things that should work but I suggest you try it on a test area first:

isopropyl alcohol and wet a rag and blot the spots,
use a water-soluble paint brush cleaner,
Also, I have heard Avon Skin So Soft (oil) removes it as well as that bacon grease or lard just rubbed it on will take it out.
Plain old rubbing alchohol also works great.

I don't what is worse - that someone would ask how to remove pine tar from their cargo pants on the D-90 board or the CVC had the answer.

I guess that's what the MISC section is for? :lol

Well, I posted 'cause I was using the D-90... but I really hesitated before the posting.
And on point 2 - again kudos to Chris. One stop shopping.
