Early series clutch mech

When is it time to replace the bushing for the withdrawal sleeve?

I'm going through the series 1 withdrawal mechanism and the clutch withdrawal sleeve is just a little loose. Before I pony up the 40$ for a new bushing... how snug are the new ones?

On the same note, I have always been taught to replace the throwout bearing. But I 'think' someone has replaced this one recently. Do these have a reputation for going bad?

I feel like I'm getting cheap but all these bits add up. thanks

That's one of those parts you just replace while you're in there. Just do all of it. Don't be cheap on clutch and brakes.

Definately replace all those parts, put a recon g/box in my 2A last year and skipped the throwout bearing and it froze solid after 6 months

I know I know... your guys are right.
I guess I'll just have to do it right the first time:)
thanks
