Diesel motor with tranny still in frame...

Hey Guys,
I almost bought this motor for my defender but then had to back out on the seller because I sold my defender. I'm posting it here to try and help get it sold for him. If anyone is really interested I'll give you his contact info so I don't have to be the middle man. No tire kickers please. It's a perkins 4.0L mated to an LT95 with overdrive. It's mounted in a 110 frame that has been cut off right behind the tranny.

Follow-up Post:

Sorry forgot the price, $1500 plus shipping. Shipping will probably be $500-$800.

Yeah he's actually a friend of mine. I'm actually the one that pointed him to your post for the 300tdi. If it doesn't work out with yours maybe he'll want this one.

Thanks

Telling everyone which perkins it is would be helpful.

I don't see a turbo, correct?

Also, is the LT95 out of a RR, a 110 or a 101.

Sorry don't know which model it is. Non-turbo but owner says one can be added easily from perkins.

Follow-up Post:

LT95 is out of a D110.

Come on, someone must want this thing! You could run on vegetable oil and have treehuggers chasing you around town. Never mind the fact that you'd be able to climb a tree with 4 liters of power behind you.

Without knowing which one it is, I doubt anyone will buy it. I bet that think has only around 100hp.

That doesnt seem to be keeping people from buying tdis. If it was closer to OR, I would consider this setup. Reasonable money if its in decent shape.

This thing was on the West coast and was on Land Rover Exchange for a long time. Last spring I inquired about buying the overdrive. Has someone on the East coast bought it and shipped it or is it still in Oregon or Washington state ? Sounds Like Ike would buy it if its still out there.
