This is what I found for my situation for declared value for insurance. I checked through American Collectors (USAA Affiliate) and Hagerty.

I have an umbrella policy through USAA that covers above the standard auto and home insurance. If you own a house, highly recommend this as it protects you to a million dollars if you're sued from an auto accident or something happening at home.

Because of the umbrella policy, I had to stay with USAA (American Collectors) or I would not be covered under the umbrella policy. It was pretty easy. USAA covers all the liability for the Rover and American Collectors covers the declared value and any accidents or property loss.

When it was all said and done, Staying with USAA (American Collectors) was about $175 cheaper per year for everything compared to Hagerty.

    Hope this helps.
    Dave
