Hello Bill and Merry Christmas. I love my Tithonus as the upgrades (seats, matting system, SD roll cage, etc.) alone would cost many thousands of dollars. Plus the FFRs were generally lightly used and in very good overall condition. Mine is a semi daily driver and I have taken it on 3 long (12+ hours ea. way) trips wheeled the snot out of it and drove it home. Abe Bell (Solarguy) was my purchasing agent for mine and Doug Crowther (uncledouglas) did the importing for me. So I would contact Abe (720) 266-7781 and get his thoughts and pricing.

The second option would be Ken Jagolta (bobcat110) (954) 941-1301 he has one up on ebay right now I think in the low 20's. The truck is here in the US, it has been sorted out by an excellent mechanic and is titled and all that. So little to no risk compared to buying a truck sight unseen and importing it. I would not sell mine for what he has his priced at. So I think it is an extremely fair price for these trucks. He should be selling them in the $30-40K range. As there were only about 3,000 in that program and very few LHD versions.

As for the 2.5 na motor, it is what it is - a loud, underpowered and slow 68 hp diesel motor. But there are options out there.

So anyway I think the Tithonus is a great value for the price and if you are thinking about one I wouldn't wait too long as there only so many importable ones out there. I hope this helps if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

I'm considering a Tithonus FFR and wondering how much to pay?, without paying too much, ~60k miles. As a light-work/pleasure vehicle, are these good, reliable vehicles?, and run well in the cold?
Are they too underpowered, the 2.5L diesel, or just fine? Thanks in advance for your time and my newbie questions.
