I am looking for 2- OEM (Gray) 1997 Land Rover Defender Blank Ignition keys. Would anyone happen to have these or know where I can get them?

OEM ones are black, the grey ones are for the center console... The factory ones are no longer available. And the last ones sold here were about $50 each.

If you have one, lowes used to have a metal blank that would work, but not as nice as the OEM version.

Black -Ignition

Silver - doors

Gray - center console

4th - gas cap

I found them the ignition keys at my local Land Rover dealer. $64 a piece they won't cut them but, the local locksmith will. If anyone needs them in the future the part # is AAU8276.

Curious, what is the difference between the '94 and '97 keys? I just compared these '94 blanks to my 2000 key and they are the same.

They were originally cut with a pliers type tool...

STC4798 is the 2nd of 4 supersessions since the NAS AAU8274
