Do these push a standard D2 wheel past the oem fender flares?

That's pretty cool. Too bad they are not easier to come along with. I have a set of 255/75/17 tires take-off from my Rubicon that I would like to use in my 110 but can't find 17" rims for it

My set of Mondials I have been sitting on would look cool on a D.

This is the only reason I asked. I love Mondials (and I'm not likely to pop $650 per wheel for a Kahn defender bolt pattern version).

Something like this Doug, 285/75-18 yields a true 35/11.3 tire, and it is the Toyo A/T XT:

Everybody knows a bolt pattern spaced at a smaller diameter is a weaker than if at a larger diameter, right? Something to think about before loading up your 110.

I cannot imagine a 110 coming close to the weight of a monster D-II, and have never seen them break there. Not arguing the pattern is stronger wider, but also doubt it is of much concern....

It boils down to the hub transferring the effective braking power. Doesn't the D2 have floating front calipers where 110s has the more powerful 4-piston calipers and the higher tow rating?

They would look just like an 18" version of the Kahn! Wait, reverse that. The Kahn is just a 20" flat grey mondial! Would look good with meaty tires imho.
