Wanted: spare tire carrier

A forum member picked up my fiberglass roof that I was giving away, and (accidentally?) took my spare tire carrier too...and then ended up selling the tire carrier.

Also took my rock sliders and NAS rear bumper.

Anyways, I'm now in the market for a new tire carrier, preferably the mantec one.

Does anyone have one or know a good way to order the mantec? Last time I ordered from there website it took weeks for them to respond.

I'm almost certain that it said that when I bought it. Try sending them an email.

Sounds more like theft, not accidental at all. Shameful.

We have a container headed our way next week with a couple mantec 214-SWCDEF in the order $475

Email for details - brian@defendersnw.com

This doesn't sound like someone I'd want to buy from or sell to - who was it?

He says it was an accident so I'm going to give him some time to make it right before naming names.

He ended up selling the NAS bumper and tire carrier for something like $450

Hoping I can find replacements for that price. I don't need the entire NAS bumper, but I do need the the rear hitch.

But dude, you listed that top back in March. He's just putting you off from chasing him.
Way overdue to report theft to Police.
Do you want someone else here to be ripped off?

He has an explanation of what happened. I believe him. I don't want to ruin his reputation if he hasn't had a chance to make it right.

Sounds simple to me. Tell him to get out his credit card and order you new parts. He can take his time to pay off the credit card company as they are in the business of financing the unplanned and mistakes.
He accidentally took your parts the way to make it right is to buy new replacements ASAP.
Our jails and prisons are full of people who made mistakes and it wasn't their fault, but it was their responsibility. It is his responsibility to do the right thing.
Just my $0.02

I bet Neil could use this guy to get himself out of some interesting situations that he often finds himself in.

Somehow convinces you that he accidentally unbolted a tire carrier, rock sliders, NAS rear step bumper.

"whoops"
