Used but in good condition as shown in the photos. I just pulled my RTE/QT/Fox reservoir shocks, springs, etc. from my 97SW while returning it to more stock setup for necessary sale this summer prior to my transfer to Japan. These parts are used and have been on my truck for about four years and 8500-9000 easy miles, mostly commuting to the base with little load in the truck other than me.
All of this stuff cost me more than $3200 to put together a few years ago. It can be used on D90s, Disco Is or RRCs as I recall, with different lift results on each. On my D90, it resulted in about a 4.5” lift, even with a big brush guard and winch on the front.
The springs are the RTE RR1-3s and RR4-3s. They were posted initially as a 3” lift, but as many here can attest, you end up with a lot more lift on a D90 or 110, usually 4.5” or so as I saw.
The RTE front and rear upper and lower mounts/retainers show surface rust as to be expected, but can be easily and simply cleaned up. I just wanted everyone to see their condition so no one wondered what fresh paint covered. The front towers are the adjustable ones, different than those posted on the RTE site now. None of it required any modification to my truck, and I’ve recently returned it to stock-ish/OME ride height without any issues.
The Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks are in excellent condition. The surface of the shock and reservoir bodies show some surface corrosion (especially where enclosed out of sight/cleaning access within the shock towers), but the “business parts” are all in good working order. The heim joints all move freely but solidly without rattles and the chrome sliding surfaces are perfect and without blemish. I don’t remember what the valving was when I had them made for me by a truck racing joint in SoCal, but they were setup for a D90 in my configuration. They are still serviced properly with oil and have been working well, but could use a nitrogen recharge. I just don’t have access to anywhere nearby to help me with this. The fronts have reservoirs with remote hoses and the rears are piggyback style.
The front radius arms are QT 6-degree corrected ones for a lift of this height. The rear trailing links are the RTE lift-corrected ones. All bushing are still installed and are in OK condition if the buyer wants to use them. They were installed at time of purchase. (4 years/8500 or so miles ago)
For best effect, I’ll also include the RTE adjustable panhard rod I later installed to correct alignment following the lift. It’s also in good used shape, and the heim joint is good.
Also included is all the random mounting hardware, spacers, etc. used to mount all this stuff, although it is used and should be replaced with similar if considered consumable.
Included below are photos of all the stuff included in the sale, along with a few old photos of my truck with all of this installed for visual effect. D90, Ducati, random garage crap, etc. not included.
The five I found are with the "A-Team-ish" wheels and 315/75s (34.8") tires. I'll try to find some photos of the other sized wheels/tires I've had on it over the years, but somewhere on here is a thread where I posted photos with the stock wheels and 285/75s, 35x15" on steelies, etc.
