Clay: do you know if anyone has mounted one of these with a pintle hitch on the crossmember?

Not to my knowledge. I will measure how far the clearance is between the bottom of the crossmember and the lower edge of the carrier. You will also need to consider that it swings out to the right so if you are towing anything make sure it doesn't have any items that protrude upward near the rear door/gate. I am working with a new manufacturer on these, coupled with a whole sh*t load of life events (all good) so I apologize to all in advance on being slow lately. I will eventually see all you eastcoasters as we are trying to get to relocate to Raleigh

Yes I am alive. Not everyone is excited about that but moved my family to the East Coast. I am wrapping up things in Cali. Anyway going to do another run. Modification will include on those that are interested moving the tire mount to the left about 3 inches to clear the brake light for ROW vehicles. This may eat into your space to carry 2 full jerry cans depending upon your tire size. I need to put pricing together. the original shop is willing to do another run. So PM me if your interested. I know everyone's wallet is recovering from Christmas so typically I have taken 1/2 deposit at order and the rest upon completion prior to shipping. Thanks all and I am working my a lot so I may not get back to you right away.
Thanks all.
Clay

moving

Raleigh.
CA is going to hell in a handbasket. Love the people and San Diego, hate the CA gov't (state and local) not to mention the high cost of housing, living and having two people in the house with advance degrees working 50+ hours just to make a descent living. Buggin out and going back to the South as we are original Floridians.

We are closing on a house in Feb. for a 1.21 acre 2200 square foot home for a monthly mortgage of about $1,300. I am laughing as our CA home was $4,000 a month for an 1800 square foot home and a 7000 foot lot.

Congratulations - Raleigh/Durham is a good town. I've thought about going there.

Thank you

Steve,
Thanks. Looking forward to meeting the folks on the East Coast as there are numerous events put on that I have read about and wished I could have made it.

Will do! I will try to clean up this thread as well - meaning start a new similar one so everyone does not have to wade through this muck

OK - Here's the deal - I can do another run. Price will be $750 including hardware, plus shipping BUT no powder coat. That is the best price the shop can offer me. This will include NAS versions and a ROW version that has the tire mount moved over about 3 inches to clear the upper corner brake light. If you want one I need to put in an order ASAP and will be taking deposits. Guys I am sorry about the price increase and no powder coat but this is the best I can offer. I don't think I will be doing another run of these as I these are my final days in San Diego.

Todd,
No interest besides yours. I appreciate it but I am not sure where all the pm owners who wrote me wanting one went.

If I don't hear from the rest of the group by end of day. I can't do another one.

So folks if your inboard let me know by EOD. My wife 'a foot is already uncomfortably up my ass about my truck and there is no more room to take one for the team

Clay,
You can count me in for the NAS version.
Still loving your third brake light bar, too.
Good luck with your move.
Best,
John
