How much are these??

I have went thru the thread - and I seem to be missing the obvious! All I can find is that $20 bucks are being made on each to cover gas an expenses

Thanks,

Flagg

I'm in for a light when they're ready. Clay, are you still thinking about $130 per light?

Thanks

light

Charles,
Since they are going to be out of sheet metal, powder coated and use a DOT approved LED slim light I think the price will be less. When I get the prototype, I will post pics, estimated costs and take deposits before being made, so I can get an exact count of who is in for one.

First I would like to thank all of those folks who purchased a light bar. The machine shop made up some extras so they are ready to ship should you need one. I appreciate all the feedback I have gotten from both buyers and non-buyers.

Clay-
Finally checked the thread pitch of those thread lock nuts and they are the incorrect pitch. I just realized it as I started to get everything ready for the install (tire removed and trying to figure everything out). I will need to give you a call so I have a better idea of where everything goes and how it all fits together.
I will be needed those lock nuts if you could send them my way.
Your PM box was full so I thought this would be the easiest way to contact you.
Thanks,
Clarence

Clarence,
Thank you, I will get the correct nuts and bolts out to you. I had to clean out the mailbox.

brake light

Charles,
Sorry for the delay on these, the machine shop is backed up but they are working on making the mold to press the top part as it will be a 3 piece design - top, bottom and light. So basicially there is progress just not as fast as I thought. I will keep you posted. Once I get the prototype, I will post to get buy in from the group if it is an acceptable design.

Doesn´t Corvette´s C4 (1986-1990), NAS Alfa Romeo 164 S and Spyder Veloce (1991) and also NAS Ferraris from the 90´s use actually a really similar (or the same) 3rd brake light as the NAS D-90´s? Just Google pictures on the web.

Start looking in junkyards...

Cheers,

light

Santiago,
You may want to move your post to the tech section so people can find it in the future.

3rd brake light

Yep as you are pointing folks in what I think is a good direction regarding a technical topic as to where to potentially finding a direct factory replacement rather than a "for sale" replica that will be a bit different for stock. I think you should get credit for doing the research and hopefully folks can search in the tech section on direct replacements.

item.

Charles,
I am a boob as the shop is working on the carriers and the bumpers. I will stop by tomorrow or Friday and see if they can continue with the prototype.
