SW Rear Door 5 bar checker plates FS

Order these as a test. There are two types late and early style. The only difference between the two plates are the cut outs for the rear door stay, one is larger than the other.

I believe one is for the a NAS spec truck and the other is for gray market but I could be wrong.

Either way the plates are $95.00 each shipped or $81.00 pickup or combined with another order.

More can be on the way Friday, didn't want to order several plates without figuring out which one was the correct for NAS vs ROW.

If someone was a NAS SW could confirm that would be cool, don't want someone to get a plate that is not correct for them.

Aric you get first dibs as promised

Also had two complete sets of Mantec window guards side and rear in the order. Those are listed in another post.

Follow-up Post:

The plate with the oblong hole is ROW and has been sold, as has one set of window guards.

Stephen,
I believe you are correct. I've recently had mine off to remove my OEM rear tire carrier, and the one you have identified as ROW is definitely not it. The OEM vinyl trim panel on my NAS 110 is open to the end in the lower left corner where the limiting arm goes.

I'm amazed at how quickly your shipments come in. Can you check on the availability and pricing of the anodized black panels? I think I would prefer those, instead of having to paint them myself. I don't want to have shiny panels inside the vehicle-would contrast with everything else.

Doug

That one is still available, would be tomorrow before I could ship it though. Send me a PM if you want it.

I will order more of these, if you are interested need to know if NAS or ROW and how many I need to order.

Black ones are doulbe the price and hard to get, but will try other sources.

Rebel 4x4 has the black ones for only 10£ more than the natural silver. That's worth waiting a little longer for me, if you can find an equivalent. Thanks for checking.

Looking at it guys. My supplier does not have access to these in black at the moment. But as luck would have it I am a government contractor by day and we get thousands of items anodized through a local company.

I have ordered 6 more plates, will see when they get here how much to get them done. Will post up when I have an answer.

In the mean time there are 6 natural ones on the way.

Follow-up Post:

Instant gratification for Rebel 4x4 black plates, NAS spec, if 5 buyers $145.00 shipped to the lower 48 states, will work today to get a better price on these.

ok, thanks. I did note yesterday when on the rebel site that I mispoke. The black plates are powder coated, not anodized. I plan on putting a folding table and cooker on mine, so I just want black tough enought to not chip off and take a little heat.

Stephen -
Window guards and rear door plate arrived Friday. Thanks again.

Mark -
I've got the same plans for my rear door. I'm thinking that a can or two of spray paint ought to be simple and easy enough to touch up after a couple of years of abuse. For what it's worth, the black anodizing on my wing top protectors looks pretty bad already, so will be going to paint on them as well.

I'm definitely open to plan B. Key is to make sure that the plate is roughed up enough for the paint to adhere, or it will chip and flake quickly.

I have one that I had set aside for Doug but I have not heard from him today, so if you want it its yours. I will be leaving for VA on Wednesday morning so to prevent a delay in shipping I need to hear something today. If not I will be gone a week and 4 more are between customs in NY and Orlando according to DHL website. No rush if you are not in a rush just let me know.

I am interested in ordering another one of these WITHOUT the wiper motor cutout. The one I got, that SafariRover and I discussed, was not NAS compatible, and left a huge gap on one side of the rear wiper motor. If I can find a full piece without the cutout, I can cutout with my original cardboard rear for a perfect fit, and use the one I have as scrap for the fold down rear desk and other items I want to install, but can't find 5 bar for. Stephen or anyone else...thoughts? The second picture posted by Stephen with the hinge cutout that goes all the way, is correct for the 93' 110 (sans the horrible euro wiper cut)

I would also be interested in one without the wiper cutout because I don't have a rear wiper.

The one I bought last year from Stephen fit my NAS 90 station wagon rear door perfectly- no gaps.

Stephen, here's your sales tip. Just order ones without the wiper cutout, and let everyone cutout there own!
