Step drill for flywheel housing mod

Proper tool to make flat shoulder recess you want on those holes. Paid about 25 at mcmaster. Yours for 15 plus the ride.

I'd keep it. Step bits are the cat's ass for metal.
Got a pic, though?

No pic. It is a single step. More like an end mill with a dick. 1/2 inch arbor. The dick portion fits perfectly in the existing flywheel housing bore to guide the drill. The step part then widens out the hole so that the bolt head fits. It is sized only for the M10 socket head bolts. I used it for the 4 holes I needed to make and now I'm done with it. Virtually new condition.

Exactly so. I also bought a box of ten of the proper bolts. I will throw in 4 of these bolts to sweeten the deal.
