HI Brett-
I'm not the one selling them.... I guess I was just the last one to post on the thread. I got a set from Matt Hurst awhile back. Take care-

Matt you are Awesome for doing this! After being in all winter I removed my doortops this weekend and they came off and went back on rather painlessly, nice job getting all the footwork done for us!

Matt,

I just took my door tops off yesterday. I guess the original studs are regular steel, and mine have some rust - which I guess is the purpose of your product.

I assume these are designed to simply swap out out the originals. People on this page seem pretty happy............Some questions:

1)Are they the exact same size?

2)Do the originals usually pull out of the windows easially, and the new ones just slide in?

3) Do they have the same thread pattern, so my existing "quick-nuts" will still work?

4) Do you have any left - or will you be making a new sets when you get enought orders?

Thanks,

Flagg

1.they are an exact copy of an original window stud just made in 304 stainless steel -2. mine looked like jim c's in his pic on page 1 reply #7 and the came out fairly easy (i used a small pipe wrench to remove mine and i used a pair of pliers with some rubber around the stud so i didnt mark it up when installing the new stainless ones) -3.they are an exact copy of an original window stud (i have quick nuts on my stainless studs right now) -4. i did have a few extra made. paypal me at hurstmatt@msn.com total is $47 that icludes fedex groun shipping thanks-matt

Matt,

Thanks - they look great. I will let you know if I have any trouble on the install. But I wanted to let you know I got them - on the day you said I would - and they look really well made.

Thanks,

Flagg
