ST Tire Carrier Backing Plate

Made from 1/8 steel plate - these Backing plates are made to be used with a stock tire carrier and some aftermarket ones depending on the placement of the upper hinge. The are not powder coated and are made to help spread the load of your current tire carrier over a larger surface. These go inside the tub behind your speaker. Price is $27 shipped CONUS. These also come as standard equipment on the ST Tire Carriers I have posted. Please PM if you are interested.

These are still available and great for your stock or aftermarket carriers. Also is good for a ST Rack as well but you may need to drill a few additional holes.

Are there any captive nuts welded on the back like the stock setup?
Thanks
Jay

Jay,
The don't but they are not PC or painted so you could have a few tacked on it. I know that our 94s are a little cramped in the upper rear corner. I did not put nuts on them so that they have some wiggle upon fitment before final torque.
