ST Cage

Will get more detailed photos up by the weekend but here it is
Selling my extra cage.
b, c, diagonals, cantis, bolts to put it together.

The good:
Been in northwest for the majority of its life so the foam is nice and solid. No sun damage as it was always covered.
Diagonals are the 95/97 style.

The bad:
One canti has a slight bend to it. I think it could be straightened if you jumped on it or stuck it in some sort of a press. Didn't put much effort in to it. Still looking for a replacement but most people would be fine with it.
Couple repairs here and there with that black roof flashing material. A nick here and a nick there. I will photograph all those. Again for most people it is fine but it is a big purchase and I want to divulge everything so you know what you are getting. I have repaired a few nicks on my own truck with this and it honestly is awesome.
Here is one pic
http://www.flickr.com/photos/barryri...n/photostream/

Will add photos as I take them this week.

If you seriously want a cage PM me an offer and maybe we can work something out. I will ship it anyway you want but it is on the buyer to pay. I have a crate I can use but it might be easier greyhound.

You know you want this to make your 84 a NAS ST!!!!

thanks

As pathetic as that offer of compliance is I'll say thanks, and make a public bid of $1000 for them.

HA I never noticed that you needed a price on items. I was looking at this thread right before I posted and had no idea
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=20021

Anyway I didn't want to start a public bidding thing and take this thread to useless territory. So if you really want one make me an offer as I need room. For what I have no idea.

I'm primarily busting your balls, but in general it's a good idea to let people know the ballpark price you want to save everyone time (not just theirs but yours too). You can't tell me you don't have an idea of what they are worth - I know you want top dollar for them, but saying an RRC is a large range (in which my offer technically fits). Yes no-one enforced it in the other thread but he at least made the disclaimer that he wanted top dollar up front and was then happy to discuss the price and condition (and finally revealing what he felt they were worth to him).

As much as I want to buy your cage parts, I know I wont be able to offer you what you want, and they won't fit my needs completely anyway since it not complete, which is why I am not PMing you. Really just trying to get you to put a realistic price on them - or you can get keep getting lowball offers via PM if that's how you'd prefer it.

IMHO if you are not willing to list the price here, you want too much. But I digress. Just say what you want for the damn things

I will take the ball busting and the low ball offers. Someone who really wants one can look up what they have gone for on the board and make me a realistic offer. I am not looking to get 10k obviously or even close.

now fighting with the mods, ummm, probably not going to get a desired outcome Barry- just an observation- and I'll offer $47.5k if you throw in your 110.

Can see the one bent canti on the grounds. Less so when it is together. Make me a decent offer and it is gone. I have a crate but would ship it anyway you want.

If not I will throw it on the bay tomorrow

Luckily I have been able to get perfect ones for 3-3.5K, but you'll find someone I'm sure. Good luck.

I dream of someday trading my perfect ST cage for pristine bits required to convert to a SW top.
