Thanks for the good review and picture Barry.

I am up for another run on these. If a few more people are interested I will order up some plates. Anyone else out there who feels they missed out on previous runs that want to get in on it?

I also have a Yakima Sparetime rack that I purchased in order to check fitment that I would be willing to part with if someone is interested in the rack plus mounting plate.

Jeff, I am in for one of these if you do another run. I'm also in Asheville so I could just come pick it up.

Ordered plates and they said it would be a week. I will get parts made up between now and then and hopefully it will be a decent turn around at the powder coater.

Thanks to all who have expressed interest.

Jeff

Jeff have you seen any way to make the mount work on the Thule yet? I know you had said there was an issue because the Thule requires contact with the tire wall, just seeing if there's a solution to that. I have a 285/75 R16 set.

Haven't gone the Thule route yet. I bought the Yakima so I could fab up my mount. I just haven't felt like buying another rack quite yet. I know you and a couple others have expressed interest so it might be about time for that to happen.

Jeff:

When do you need to know if I'm in for a full setup?

Hey Jeff, instead of you buying a thule rack, I could ship you mine and you could do a template right? Or I'm in Greenville SC from time to time to visit the parents and I could drop it off. It's really similar. Lemme know?

------ Follow up post added August 6th, 2012 06:23 PM ------

I have the same tires as Josh.

Lav- I ordered a couple extra plates so I will have a little bit of stock in that department. I would like to make parts this week so the sooner the better. Did you get my email reply the other day? I don't think you need a full second setup. At most you might just need another plate with receiver so you can do a swap of the jack with the mount still attached

Chad- Not a bad idea. I will consider that. I get down to Greenville/Spartanburg from time to time so that might work

An I would ship it as well as the pieces you'd need aren't that heavy. But I am due a visit soon. I don't use it much as the plate part is on back order. Kinda fate that you started the thread making the piece I potentially need.

To whom it may concern,

I got everything to the powder coater today. For those who have expressed interest I am willing to accept payment at this time. Funds can be sent to jeffro3 at mac.com via paypal. Make sure to include your shipping address.

Again the prices are as follows.

Yakima Sparetime mount, $70
Hi lift jack mount, $130.

I will hopefully be shipping on Monday if the powder coater is done and payments have been received.

Thank you so much to D-90 and its members

Jeff

I'm picking up from powder coater tomorrow. If anybody wants to pay who hasn't already I will ship to you. I will be sending out PMs to those who I haven't heard from so I can get them to you asap.

Thanks
Jeff
