Southdown NAS d-90 Snorkel (stainless)

Used, but in good condition, Southdown Stainless Snorkel. Includes all hardware, and a new 3ft. hose section. though be warned that the hose may not be long enough for every application (V8's and 300tdi's in particular). I may be able to source additional hose depending on your needs. The stainless section is shiny, undented and in good condition, all rubber/plastic bits are in good condition as well. No holes, cracks or anything else. Snorkel top swivels 360 degrees. Pics of the snorkel to follow when comcast decides to show up and reinstall my cable after the windstorm.

Since these seem rare in anything but yellow, I'll start the price at $300, including shipping in the lower 48.

Yes KB, I have updated my snorkel. I am changing things just to change them....

This is the one that goes through the fender right...I mean, you have to cut the fender to pass it through rather than it running through the upper vent, correct?

I don't mind cutting holes in the fender. Does it require relocating the radio antenna?

Yes. The "boot" covers it.

And if you have fender protection (5-bar), you will need to shorten the drivers side to fit the hole and boot.

I'm really interested. Is there any reason it couldn't be installed on the passenger side to avoid relocating the radio antenna?

thanks,
Abe

licked- I hope. Need a template for the hole if you have it, or can trace one from your install. Thanks

Sold pending payment.

Dale, no template but I used the snorkel "boot" and a sharpie inside to make the template for the hole. It will make sense when you see it. I don't recall the thing coming with a template back when I purchased it from Jim Pappas....

You could easily mount it to the passenger wing however it would be a very, very tight fit with the heater box there. I do recall seeing a UK rover picture with one on each side.
