These are the door seal rods for a Bestop Soft Top (OEM) on a 1997 NAS D-90. The rods slide through sleeves in the soft top behind the driver's and passenger's doors. The "J" hook, at the top, wraps around the snap rail while the lower "flat rail" screws into a rivnuts on the rear tub capping used by the fiberglass hardtop. The '95 Bestops didn't have this piece, and consequently the tops would "bow" behind the doors, letting in the elements. It's supposed to keep the top taut so it seals against the doors when they are closed, but it doesn't work anywhere near as well as your system does Chris.

Will,

Those are actually Badger GK upright brackets and not Bestop hardware.

Of course, now looking at the photo closer, I think I'm wrong. At first blush, they look the same, but those are not the bars I was thinking of.

Beat me to my correction Chris.

The bestop ones I thought had rods on the uprights, not flat stock.

Ron,

These are what I thought the parts above were (interior bars in the pic below). They are flat on the bottom part (the part that screws into the tub capping.

Yup, that is them. What I was referring to is that the upright is a rod, not flat stock.
