I love how a metal shift knob feels after sitting all day in the sun of mid-July. It's neat how the shift pattern is formed in the palm of your hand.

Well I suppose you could use it as a shift knob. I've been leaving it outside for a couple hours and dropping it in my whiskeys to keep them cold for an hour.
