This is a late suffix series III main gearbox with series IIA suffix B transfer case and Rocky mountain Roverdrive. The late series III is sometimes called the Santana box and is (I believe) the strongest series gearbox that you can get. These are rare in the USA. Also, the suffix B transfer case is highly desirable for off-road use because the low range is about 20% lower that all the later series transfer cases. Unfortunately the main gearbox shows signs of wear on the 1st/2nd synchro unit although it's still usable. Also, the transfer case is leaking lots of oil through the transmission brake. I believe the transmission brake probably got packed with mud during MAR 2009 which destroyed the rear output oil seal. That's fairly easy to fix.
$900 complete (due to generally dirty condition.)
It's in my garage in Chevy Chase, MD and I prefer if you come and get it (although I could ship for a few hundred extra.)
