SAFE T PEDAL Group Buy

Hey All

After seeing this twice I decided to contact the owner in the UK for group pricing and more info as my cuz in the UK swears by his. Clearly it won't stop a flat bed lift job, but anyone trying to drive it will be dissapointed, and unlike most other easily defeatable options this doesn't seem to have an easy bypass.

He offers the following if I can get at least 10 people (only LHD with aircon units for now):
100 pounds (~$150 as of today) for each of the yellow painted units shipped to me in NY, and then we can RURR or local pick up or additional shipping to your door on your (additional) dime.
If you wanted an uncoated natural steel look it'll be 5 pounds ($7.40) off.

Here's the site
Shire Fabrications

Let me know. If no interest I'll just get one. And if someone has a cheaper source/easier way, feel free to suggest. I'm not a vendor, just thinking of the community.

Haha! Jk. What he meant to say was that it is for his '89 diesel 90 HT with A/C.

Tell that to Bill Davis from Great Basin Rovers (GBR Utah). He had his stolen ~6 months ago. Luckily 2 weeks later, he was driving around and saw it in a packing lot and just in it and drove away. Gained a set of tools in the process. I bet the guy who stole it was pissed that someone stole it from him.

Message sent to them. I'll let you (and anyone else with a manual disco 1) know if they'll honor at same price or not.
So far I have 5.
Cmon guys protection is priceless.

I was thinking of getting one. But consider it bulky to handle.
I've been thinking of installing a Ravelco. A bit pricey, but unhackable.
It was actually tested in Mexico City. Car was left with the keys in it. After four hours and multiple attempts, the car was still there. Albeit the dash was ripped up to access the wiring.

From the owner regarding discos:

"We Dont yet do a lhd disco version, due too not having access to a lhd vehicle mate !"

Sorry. That being said I wonder if anyone who has one for a LHD manual defender 90 could try to fit it on a manual disco 1 and report back on fitment?

Does this work both with factory installed AC and the aftermarket ones from rovers north?

Definitely works with factory. You'd have to see how different the size is of the RN version. I can't imagine the manufacturer (in the UK) has had many RN a/c units to work with. Post pictures of each version and I'll send it on and ask
