Safari Guard rear worklight bracket w/ cb mount hole

I recently came across my old Safariguard rear light bracket for a worklight. It is the one that mounts behind the license plate light on the rear, and it also has the hole for the cb/ham antenna. I was talking to someone about getting a few of these made if there is any interest here. I think that they are no longer available from Safari Guard. I can have a few made up if anyone is interested. Just let me know.

Depends on how much. Do you have a price breakdown?

will your shipping and customer service be as shitty as Safari Gards? If you are willing to make them and actually ship them, and not have me call you every 5 seconds to remind you that UPS only sends me tracking numbers when then pick the item up, and that sending me fake UPS numbers to have me wait longer so you can come up with more excuses while you fiddle around to find my shipment then no thanks!

but I trust you Shawn, so yes, you can count me in for a light/CB mount

sorry about the SG rant. I'm going through some problems with them right now...as many of you have already experienced.

My advise is get them made out of Stainless, then Powder them, make sure you do the support/backer piece as well. I dont need one just thought I would throw in my unsolicited .02. It would also be nice to cut an isolator gasket to put between the mount and the aluminum to minimize the nasty corrosion that comes with these sorts of mounts.

As much as their customer service sucks, their products F* ROCK! I've been fortunate to have bought sliders and this rear light bracket (both brand new) from members here on the board.

If I could deal with the headache, I'd have them make a tire carrier and a few other goodies.

Sign me up for one as well Shawn, it will save me the hassle of removing the one I already have!

Okay, I'll look for that backing plate (that I forgot about) and see what this is going to cost. Hopefully I can get it together this week.

Okay, I have the backing plate in hand and I can hopefully get it to the shop tomorrow and get an estimate for us.
No, I won't dick you over.
Yes, I will get the powdercoating done.

I think I can get these made and powdercoated in semi gloss black for around $35 per unit(Bracket only, no hardware or anything else). If you guys are still interested, let me know and I'll have them start. My pricing was based on 10 units, so I need around that many to sign up.
