RTE Rear Shock Mount Kit

Brand New. I installed it last Tuesday (last night) and removed it today. Zero miles on them. I'm going to use stock shock settings.

$145

I just want to cut my losses and you can save a few bucks here.

I can bring to HH or ship on your dime.

Are these tall enough for 12" foxes in the rear? If so, I'm interested.

I believe they do work with them. You'll need to add a 4" bump stop so they do not bottom out.

I called RTE and they will work with RTE 3" springs.

Can anyone chime in and give us a hand?

Yeap,

They will work with the RTE 3" springs with no problem as these are made for extended travel shocks

Alright. I'm just slightly apprehensive that they won't be tall enough if I want to run the 12" in the rear with a 2" lift. Sure, I could add bumpstops, but that's kind of a workaround. The Rockware's are taller.

12" shocks with 2" is not a good recipe

Compressed distance between mounts won't change significantly between 2" and 3" lifts.

I went out and took some measurements. Looks like these won't work out for me, unfortunately. Rockware it is.

I still think they'll work... but, no problem.

You're probably right. I don't know the coil count or wire diameter difference between 2" and 3" springs. Either way, it doesn't make enough of a difference.

I know we talked about it, but the RTE shock mount, sits 1" higher than stock.

Yep - Fantastic mounts, just not fit for my application, unfortunately. Someone else will come along! Great price.

Are these for Discos or Defenders?

I may be interested. What shocks would I run with these?
