Based off of the interest expressed by members following some of the RRC build threads, I'm coordinating a group buy of the Neoprene Wet Okole seat covers for the Range Rover Classic.

These will be the EXACT same covers Joel (Crown14) used in his well executed 1995 RRC restoration as I am working off of his ordering sheet from Wet Okole. All units are identical and the minimum order for pricing is 10. Yes, it was 5 (as I had mentioned earlier) for $500 +s/h before, but now this is their best offer.

Price is $400 for the full set and actual shipping from the west coast. Just let me know if we can get enough interested guys together to do this.

Please respond via the thread, not pm.

All the best-Dave

I have the grey Land Rover OEM/branded water resistant slip covers, but they just aren't this cool. The Website sucks - are they machine washable slip-on/tie on? or are they semi-permanent?

Thanks for the info - sorry if I'm the idiot

Wet okoles are awesome in an RRC... Way back when i donated my rear seat to them to make the pattern for the RRC.. you're all welcome and damn you for not doing this 2 months ago! just bought a set of canvas covers and wish id gone with Okoles again.

I agree. These look great from 1 foot away, and from 5 feet, they don't even look like seat covers. I don't have them personally, so I hope someone with them could weigh in. From what I understand, they are washable, but you use a special soap to keep them from smelling musty. They are essentially a wetsuits for your seats.

This is just a batch. I'm sure they'd honor another group buy in another combo. This one is simply the most common color code.

had them in both my RRC and my D90... better in the RRC.. They are incredibly comfortable and feel good in hot and cold weather..

Sun faded them in the 90 and yes they would get damp and musty in that truck but no issues in the RRC..

Just so you're aware when ordering...the '95 RRC takes a slightly different model of Wet Okole from the '94 and older RRCs. The '95 front seat back portion is a little thicker at the bottom than the earlier ones so it takes a cover with a little more material in that area so the Velcro tabs will reach. How do I know this? I have a nice set of black and tan Wet Okole covers for an earlier truck that I installed (or tried to!) on a '95 for a while. Truthfully, it would only take some easily made extension tabs to make them fit, but if you put '95 covers on an older truck I think you'd wind up with extra material bunched up at the bottom and not get a good fit. Also, the '95 has slimmer armrests due to the redesigned center console, and the Wet Okole covers are so complete that they even include covers for them.

And yes, they're super easy to clean, and comfy as well!

Oh, and Dave...thinking about heading your way one day next week, will keep you posted.

Great info! Thanks Dan. Good to know. Look forward to seeing you out my way.

So these will be '95 only at this point, but I'll update if I can talk them into producing some pre-'95 units if needed. All else would be the same, so the slight pattern change shouldn't likely be an issue.

Yes! I was just about to post this info.

You definitely want to get their cleaning kit too, it's worth it.

you had me at "includes armrests"...interested potentially when/if this happens for a pre-95 RRC group buy.
