RRC Seat ECU (read first before you get too excited)

The seat ecu I have must have been repaired at some point. It works, the drivers seat will move in all directions and you can control the mirrors from the dash switch but there is no memory. I'll pull the ecu apart and post up pictures but for the time being, I have no idea what it's worth. I know the rebuilds on eBay sell for over $400 plus a core but I'm not looking for anywhere near that much.

I'll offer my standard $50 core value for it, since it's not 100% functional.

Bill,
1) I know you run a little side business refurbing these ECU's and I commend you on the fact that your work provides a functioning memory.
2) There are a couple of people selling the very same ECU I have here, on sites like eBay for well over $400 a piece with a $50 core charge.
3) Realistically, this part is worth somewhere between the price you charge (is it $300 plus a core) and your offer of $50 for a core.

You say you're not paying retail for the part but it seems you want me to, for all practical purposes, give the part away. I bet there are a fair number of late model Classic owners who would be more than happy to save some money and buy a part like this so they have functionality restored to their driver's seat.

I bought one of these "new" ones. I don't mind giving up the memory because I never used it. I like the idea that it doesn't have a battery in it to screw things up at a future date. I consider these a permanent fix.
