RoverTym bumper

Also posted on Dweb...

What's a new RTE bumper go for these days?
This is a RoverTym bumper, not RTE!
This bumper was handcrafted and forged by Steve himself back in the day.

It is the truck on the right.
Skidplate is included.

How about $364.50 and I won't ship it but I will try to help RURR it...

You're not allowed to buy this---I don't want Mrs. Dro coming after me!

The light bar and the side bars can be cut off if someone wants a flat blade style bumper.
I bought this from Steve right after he took over Rovertym from JBS.
It is from summer 2003.

If there was a way to get it to RI, I would be all over it.

Broke down this weekend and JBS was standing @ the truck when Drew and I came back with a trailer. Cool guy, first time I had met him.

I know I've asked you before, albeit probably 8 or so years ago, but what is the purpose of the bars on the side?

Crash protection!

No, I only used the bars to mount a bottle opener... and it looked a little different from the other ones.

JBS was a nice guy- I met him and rode in his Disco that first spring rally at Douthat in '03.
He was telling me then about getting out of the business because he was selling it to Steve and telling me how to set up a truck and all.

Oh, and he said buy a pressure washer...which I did!

Nice!

And John already tortured me by sending me pictures of his *official*GDE winch bumper on one of the other Rangies.

Glad to see the old RoverTym will be put to good use!

I've wondered how he was doing since he got out of Rovertym.
He was a nice guy. Gave me a lot of good pointers.

Here is picture of JBS watching me on Potts Mountain trail.
He is probably thinking..."what a noob...got hung up on that little rock??" LOL

Jeff, those a were some great ROAV times. I'm pretty sure I was somewhere behind you on that run. I remember puncturing my front diff on a rock that day. Some immediately noticed, grabbed an oil tag and a roll of duct tape to help me do a quick trail fix. Worked like a champ. All weekend long and 5 hours home no problem. The next weekend I was at Rovertym getting a diff cover welded on. Clay
