I would love one of these so I can easily tow the daysailer. However, since I have a HCPU, I also need the extension piece as mine is a bit crusty (understatement). I know I can get one from the UK, but shipping on that would be crazy. Anybody know of anyone selling one in the US?

No, it extends the crossmember out to the extended length of the pick-up box. Attached is a pic.
