Puma fiberglass lightweight racing hood NEW

I have one left! I had 5 of them last month. Sold 3, keeping one.
This is a puma style hood, with no heavy inner liner, the one that interfered on NAS trucks. This is a well made bonnet, in white gelcoat. Simply drill hinge holes and use 3M panel bond for a factory hood pin, or go with custom fasteners.
Ships Fedex LTL or pick it in person.

No air gaps, voids, or chips. Construction is top quality. Look at the tight fit on this NAS truck.
$350. Plus shipping.

Sorry! The hood is at 30075, at north Georgia auto detail shop.
Not affiliated with any local shops in Atlanta.
Most that I've shipped have cost 140-170.
If you are feeling adventurous, come on down to latitude 18- I've got one waiting at the shop in Vieques.

I recently received one of these hoods. It arrived very quickly (since it was coming from Georgia and not Vieques!!) and fits really well. It has been a pleasure working with Fango.

The hood is not steel reinforced as far as I can tell. It might not need any additional reinforcement as it feels very solid, but I am fabricating an internal steel frame nonetheless... to add a little extra strength and give the latch pin and hood prop attachment points.

Hood options

The lightweight hood requires no steel. You can add an aluminum strip at the front lip with thread or for pin, Saftey catch, and rubber buffer mounts with epoxy or 3m panel bond. They now make single tube panel bond so you don't need special applicators other than a caulk gun.

The regular hood version is a two piece, outer shell and inner liner. The pricier hoods have an inner liner for factory looks and mounting can done with threadcerts.

I still have the hood, with about 4 Houdinis (not following through).

I also have a vented hood, the lightweight version for sale. It has a Evercoat fiberglass primer over the white gel coat. Customer traded it in for a Puma hood.

Shipping in the USA is $159. unless you know another way.

fiberglass PUMA stlye with hood scoop. LIGHTWEIGHT

This is the lightweight version I have for sale. This does not require reinforcement or any metal subframe. You can transfer your hinges and figure out the hood pin and safety latch with epoxy or by glassing in an aluminum support. I have to call it "used" since it was primed over the factory white gel coat.

$345 plus shipping.

can you post pics of the vented hood? Is it a scoop or flush mounted louvers? If it's the latter, where exactly are the louvers?

Kind of fun for ~ $500 shipped. Maybe for Jwillia's LSA? ;-)
