Poor man boosts..disco1 wheels..

I have a set of four of the discovery 1 wheels, commonly referred to as the poor mans boosts...look very similar to boosts or deep dish alloys..$50 each, without tyres..

??? aren't the deep dish alloys the poor man's boosts?

Also, I think boosts came on D1s before Defs...

So these would be the broke-ass man's boosts?

A pic would help here.

Are these poor mans boosts, or poor mans deep dish? I'm going to have to laugh if they end up being castors!

If we don't buy them, will Shayne buy them? Isn't that how the D90 source classified section works?

The castors get a bad rap but I ran them on my 90 for 5 years and I think they look good. They are actually quite flat (pretty much the opposite of deep dish - haha) so they compliment a tall and skinny tire quite nicely.

Resist the boost.
