Pintle Hook

I have a spare 5 ton pintle hook with mounting bolts, $50 + 9.95 shipping (it is solid steel!).

Now I have a 2" receiver plate for it as well, but it would be separate and be an additional $45, but cost around $19.75 to ship it is really heavy!

Now some folks are offended by offers, I'm not. I may not take it, but I'm not going to get worked up about it.

James, my apologies I misunderstood I thought it was a bolt on plate that you could put your draw bar with hitch ball in.

I know which one you meant. No this is for a 2" receiver, you bolt the pintle to it at the desired height. You can also bolt the pintle directly to the rear crossmember on some, or you use the aforementioned plate.

This really is a lot more useful than just a trailer hitch, it also works as a very stout recovery point or strap towing point. Pintles let you clamp a wide variety of items to them, so they kind of transcend a straight trailer hitch. Besides, they look right on a Defender. I do entertain offers.
