Ah, I see. It must because that one does not do anything with the roll bar, but I will double check. PM me your address and I will send it out.

I need a alternator for a 94 defender. School me on the mean green. Simple replacement? Does it use the stock belt? Thanks Bill

TND90 I did not get your PM as I think my box was full.

Curtain is sold pending funds as is the besttop bikini

The mean green is a drop in replacement. Just bolt in and go.

Any word Ron? I'm definitely interested. I forget, stock is 90A on a NAS 110 right?

just an fyi: the mean green alternator that I bought was not a drop in for a 1994 d90. It was not even close to mounting with the stock bracket. I asked a mechanic in Denver (JC Rover) who had installed one in a 1995 and he said that MEan Green only every made a serp belt version and that he did a custom installation on that 1995 d90 where he fabricated some brackets/mounts.

Actually, in hindsight, maybe they have several versions, but I know that the Land Rover Mean Green I bought was supposed to bolt in to a 1994 and it did not, so I would double check.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff! Ron, could you check it out and see what is involved. I know you know what you're looking at, so let me know if it's a drop-in or if there is considerable fabrication required.

I am the one that Jeff installed the alternator for--I bought it from him and it is a 94 D90. It is 200A. We did swap pulleys and the custom mounting was really just making some spacers for a bolt with some scap-no big deal at all and it took only a few minutes but it ain't drop in. Personally, I love it and if I didn't have it, I would buy one. My truck is currently disassembled as I build up another 4.6--which means, I can take measurements for you all.
