Cool

sasha/anthony you are a funny man.....

I first came across Ron more than a year ago when he contacted me regarding a listing I had posted on an auction site selling a new steering damper or another part for a D90.

Correction you posted on ebay stating you had a 1995 defender to part outand to contact you.

I contated you and asked for som pics. you said sure. a week later I followed up you said you where busy and would get pics. a week later i followed up again still no pics. followed up againd no answer so left a message.
fast forward 4 months and you post on LRX.

I am intrigued cause now your name is SASHA not antony but with the same yellow defender mmmmm .

Now you post on the d 90 source and say its a 1994.

I have been receiving calls from Ron for more than a year!!! Insisting that I sell two complete front doors & the rear door for $250-!!!
THIS IS A LIE we never talked price cause you could never came up with pictures.
come on anthony/sasha. Im not making an offer on something i havent seen from someone off the web.

I have a $5,000. check that I will send you for the doors and you can send the difference of $4,000 back to me is that OK?

Pics are nice so you can see that the parts are REAL and in good shape. This is not an unreasonable request.

He is one of the first people that have posted replies to this thread with statements such as (Call me) & (where do I send the check). In the many times I have spoken to him on the phone, I have never experienced the tone thatís used in his most recent post and generally found him to be a pleasant guy!!!

yep and never got pics or proof that you had a truck.

anthony/sasha you seem to be a good guy. BUT do what you say and say what you do.

best of luck with your sale...

and be careful motorcycles can be dangerous

Nevermind. Didn't realize you wanted the doors, Ron! I'm staying out of this one. Hopefully when ECR starts making their own doors I'll be able to get some used ones from them.

You want a shifter knob? How about a free one? I'll see if I can find my old one.

As well as someone asking for it here in the thread, I was privately asked to review this listing.

Having read all the posts, I cant really warrant removing it but I will say I would hope that Anthony will start returning some messages to all the people who have inquired.

Remember gang, validate the accuracy of peoples listings as best you can before sending any money to anyone, and any transactions, research, and/or disputes are soley between the seller and buyer, and done so at your own risk. Be smart buyers gang!

Thumbs up

Ok as Neil wrote earlier in this post, the truck is for real and I have also seen it, touched it and have been in it. Also as Neil wrote it is in a small one car garage with a lot of other stuff around it. Kinda like the comercial where the gal walks into the gagage and says I know its in here somewhere and then presses the fob to see the lights blink and the horn beep. Ok so hopefully you have the picture. Anthony is an honest nice guy and just needs to find some time to follow up with all of us and complete the deals.

Gentleman,

Iíve posted the following pictures to shed some light on my dilemma! Recap: Itís a 95 D90 fast-back AA yellow. It is a one owner truck, purchased brand new by myself with 35 miles on the clock from Hornburg LR in LA. It was placed in this garage in the hopes that one day Iíll be able to repair it after a major accident. The engine, transmission & transfer case were removed by the body shop in order to repair the frame. I have sold the steering box to Steve and of course the hand brake is disconnected. The passenger side front wheel is jammed against the shock tower and will not budge! The steering linkages are disconnected and there are no brakes! The truck is backed-up against the back wall of the garage to boot. It took 6 men to get it in there and itís very difficult for me to move it or get around it! For example there have been several parties interested in the doors, rear door & or tire carrier but due to the fact that I cannot move the truck forward or open one of the doors fully Iíve been unable to take pictures of them. Of course I fully expected to do all of this but not with 35+ requests in the first 24 hours after posting this thread or the countless PMs!! Please donít misunderstand, I have no problems with receiving PMs but unfortunately was overwhelmed by them! Since then this whole thing has just snowballed out of control with me never being able to catch-up! I didnít even know what a (PM) was for the first 3 days! I fully understand why some of you have felt neglected, ignored and apprehensive at best and I donít blame you! Please try to understand my dilemma!! This thread was initially posted by my wife, hence Sasha so that is were the name confusion came from. I fully intend to address every post and PM in this thread and if said parties have not procured their parts as yet, they are welcome to mine. The truck is available for viewing with a 24 hour notice. Iíve posted some extra pics that may be of interest. I sold the door panels a few days ago and looking at the inside of one of the doors & bottom edge I see no visible rust! If you are interested in any part including several new ones in the box please give me a chance to get back to you! Additionally Iíll be listing some parts on e-Bay & posting the links on this thread.

Thank you,

Anthony.

I'm pretty sure this truck is on ebay now. If it's the same one, it is yellow and he is selling the radio antenna off of it.
