They are drop in replacements for the factory mirrors

Pull off the rubber ring, lightly prey the old mirror plate out, put in the new one, put rubber ring back on and you are done.

I had an expanded write up somewhere, I just cant find it. Think its on the old archive forum but thats not working right at the moment.
