Painted AA Yellow Hard Top For Sale

I'm offering my Hard Top for sale - with the 110 on the way, I dont have to force the 90 to be several kinds of Rover, so I can run it as a full-time soft top.

Pix of the top are on this thread:

http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ead.php?t=5448

its in fine shape, but it has been repaired. The sides are currently yellow, but would be easy to repaint in a different color and the white top goes with everything. I've got all the brackets, hardware, even the "special installation tool."

I'm thinking of more than 1K and definitely less than 1500. Bring your Rover by and installation is free!

Damn... a very nice, rightly priced hard top that's on the opposite coast from me.

I've got a truck shipping depot right next to my house, I'll ship if it you want, but I'll need a few extra bucks for crating. These definitely require a wooden crate.

Of course that starts to take a reasonably priced hardtop and turn it into a not-so-reasonably priced hardtop!

Hey Jim,

Will the top fit a 1994 Defender 90? If so I would like to buy it. Drop me an email if it isn't sold and we can work out the details.

Thanks,
Tom

1994 D-90 Hard Top

I Just put a Metal Hard Top On my 94 D-90. You are going to have to take out the old stock roll cage and get a custom one built for it to fit, could cost anywhere from $1,000-$3,000 depending on how much coverage you want-full, half or just a loop. Anything under $2,000 is a bargain for a Hard Top, this is a great deal!! Also if you want to keep the tire rack mounted on the back you will have to make a customized receiver for the tire hitch. It is a pain and costs a bit of $$$ but it looks awesome when done.

Jim's top is not an SW top it is the ST hard top that is for use with the ST cage.

It will fit the 97 NAS perfectly - no conflicts at all. The white roof is also very nice for extremely hot areas like LV. I'm also willing to drive and meet you somewhere (like Expedition Exchange in Torrance for example) to avoid shipping.

Hi Jim,
I've been looking for a local hardtop for awhile now - I'm in LA and only a few miles from EE, I'm sure we could use their parking lot
I'd certainly be willing to meet you halfway if you are in the driving mood. I'd have to come with a few spray bombs and sandpaper, though - a yellow stripe would look kindof silly on my truck! (seriously, I'd want to white it out before installation. Maybe an overnight stay would be best - here, there, etc).
The pain with my truck is taking off the roof rack for installation - definitely a 2-man job, that thing weighs a ton.
Let me know if it's still available.
