Overdrives for sale

As always at this time of year we have a few ' factory seconds' overdrives for both Series and Defender models for sale at US$$1100 each. We have two SS models that will fit Series Land Rovers I,II and III and three DS models that will fit Defender 90 and 110 with 1.4:1 transfer cases.
These units are all our current model and come with our regular twelve month warranty. However they may have cosmetic surface defects or contain some 'as new' internal parts Kits are complete with all linkages and tools. Shipping anywhere in lower 48 states is US$125.00 Regular price of these units new is US$1500. Call 925 1260 to discuss.

I will be up there next week going to Whistler. I may pick this up. I have read some units whine due to manufacturing defect beyond normal break in period.

What condition does the transferase have to be in? I believe the splines are a little worn on my xfercae.

Why is it stated DS models with 1.4:1 I can't see that listed on the Web site?

He means that you need to have a 1.4:1 transfer case ratio. The input gears are different with different ratios.

When I got mine I didn't even ask about this and I have a 1.6:1. Maybe they've asked me and I don't remember ?

Seems a flaky operation, even their emails bounce back, was thinking of one for the S1.

It is a well known and very well respected long running business. They just don't live on the Internet.

This is the next thing for the 110. It is my Plan for Christmas 2016. If anyone is thinking about doing this for their truck, do it. I had a Fairey on my Series, and it was well worth it. These over drives are better made, come from a good company, and the fuel/wear savings is real.

What sort of mods are necessary to fit one of these? Drive shafts remain as they are? Mounts need relocated?

Nothing. It replaces the input gear.

Kent you don't need to make any modifications to your 110 to fit the overdrive. You remove the PTO cover and install the unit in the hole. The unit is also supplied with a new lever boot and the lever enters the cab next to the hi/lo shifter.

The factory seconds he is selling in this thread are for 1.4 only. You can buy one for a 1.6 at normal price. You need to call though. Ray is old school.
