Original (used) seat covers

I replaced my gray/black seat covers recently and have the original covers and foam.

The seat bottoms are in pretty good condition. One has a small cigarette burn (on the surface only) and the vinyl is cracked at the seam and the fabric underneath shows. The other seat bottom is in good condition with only a small 1/2" cut on the side.

One seat back is good on the front, but has 4 small cuts on the back. The other seat back has a 1-1/2" tear at one of the seams, but the back is fine.

Both headrests covers are in excellent shape.

These could be good replacements until you can afford Badger covers, Exmoor Trim, or have them reupholstered.

What do you say to $50 plus shipping? Or, make me an offer.

Although I doubt anyone needs the foam, just because of it's age, if you want them, the bases and backs are yours for free.

Tim, they're super easy to replace. You pull out some plastic pins and the rubber trim which hold the cover onto the frame. If you're just a little bit careful, they're reuseable. Slip off the old ones and slip on the new ones. The replacement seat foam is softer and nicer. The replacement Xmoor covers go on easily too. Good instructions and they fit like a glove. For those in the US, I think the covers are probably near the cost of the Badger covers when you take into account shipping and the exchange rate. I think that if I had to do again, I might price out a local upholstery shop or the Badgers, though.

Mike, I'll bring them to PA.

Ken, I finally ordered from Exmoor, but I'm glad I waited, because now they sell the G4 seats as re-trim kits. I'll give a report when they arrive - I'm stoked.

Actually, this needs a new thread...

Jim, Marchand just ordered some stuff from Exmoor too. You might want to talk with him about shipping. It was a huge $$$ PITA for us on the last order and I think we figured a better way. Agree that those G4 seats look sweet!

The quoted me 88 quid for 2 seat covers, foam, and heater kits. That sux, especially with the quid rate, but I've spent so damn much on this truck that I figured an extra 150 bucks would be a drop in the bucket.

So what is this better way?
